to Sarah for spurring my interest and showing her example, which Itotally stole and altered a tad for myself. And I don't remember who, butthanks for steering me toward the website for the punch outs. They came inthe mail today and in the nick of time for SCRAP NITE at my house. I'm not sure I've had the same group of ladies twice since I started about 6 months ago. There are the core 3, which one didn't show tonight. But each month I have a surprise last minute call from someone I didn't expect wanting to come and that's really fun. Then there are the 2 that have been telling me for 6 months "Next month I'll for sure come." And then there's always one that says they are coming and don't show, no phone call, no nothing. The first couple months I checked on them to make sure they were OK. When I say I'm going to someone's house I'm going unless something drastic happens and then I'll call. So, if I don't show or don't call please check up on me cause something's wrong. Anyhow they were all fine, thank goodness, just have a flaky streak.
Bottom line I'm enjoying my scrapping get together's it really gets me going on pages and organizing, plus the company is great.
Just a little PS to those who read my BooHoo note a week or so ago about the
2 friends that are ignoring me... one of the friends came to the Crop tonight. My child comes out and asks, "How come you haven't been calling or coming by I miss you?" Couldn't have planned it better myself. Friend says, ahhh new boyfriend, head in clouds, don't have time etc. yada yada. My only comment was "Yes I miss your calls too." My new scrapping friends says out loud, "Oh how sad, don't worry I'll start calling you." I'm thinking WOW I've made a new friend in front of the old friend. The new friend's son and my son are friends and I knew she scrapbooked and I just threw out an invite last week not expecting she'd want to come cause we don't know each other well. She called at 5 asking if the crop was still on and could she come. When was it I said 6:30.I want to thank you all for helping me to hang tough. I'm on the mend.
