Part 3 of 3, Organizing

The last thing I know you are wondering about, what about those cotton pickin' long borders, trim pieces, etc. Well I again went to walmart and got those MEAD, plastic covered 3 ring binders with a zipper and are bright colored. They also have a pocket in the front and back.

Next get a pack or two of the mixed sticker storage pages. I cut them off to fit in the binder. The storage page that has 5 slots for long border pieces, well you cut off the very last slot and the pages fit perfectly in your binder.

I use different colored binders for different themed pieces, i.e. geen for all vegetation related stickers, trim etc, pink for plain colored borders and stuff, blue for any that are nature related and red for all mine that are military related. If you cut and use all those different pages for different size/type stickers, you can put all your die cuts, embellishments that are related together. IF you hold and open the binders in the upright position, nothing falls out and when they are zipped closed, the same result. Unlike some of those cotton pickin organizers out there, the slots or pages are too big, you do not know if it is right side up or what, well ya'll know!

Stickers in these binders can be the NEW bunches of them you have or in addition to the ones in the envelopes in the third drawer of your cart.

When I want to go crop, all I take is my crate of paper, the binder of the subject I am working on and I use the bottom drawer of my cart to put the little extra things I may need/want, scissors, glue, punches, etc.

I also have a little three letter size drawer unit on, like you get to put on a office desk, on the table that I put my scraps in, one drawer for solid color pieces, one drawer for prints/designs and one drawer for pieces of pictures.

The binders, the envelopes, or the bottom drawer of your cart could also be used to sort and theme your diecuts ahead of time too. Just put envelopes in the bottom drawer of cart, or get the sticker pages that have the right sized 'holes' and put them in a binder. These are a few different ideas and BTW, I only have one of those 2x4' banquet like tables that I crop on and leave sitting up and I have PLENTY of room!

So I hope that this may give some of you an inspiration and have fun keeping organized!
