Hi! I've never really messed with newsgroups before but my dh found this one for me. I've been reading through a lot of the posts and thought I may as well post since I seem to be coming back day after day reading up. My name is Brandy - I'm 26 and live in southern New Hampshire. My dh Joe is 23 and we have a 5 1/2 month old baby boy, Nathaniel. My dh works for a high end computer manufacturer of video on demand equipment and I am a SAHM. I'm originally from Michigan, which I notice there's a couple of you from there, but I've lived in the New England area for over 5 years and I love it.
I just started scrapbooking about a month ago and have almost completed a 20 page book. It's going to be a gift for my mother for Christmas. She still lives in Michigan and doesn't get to see Nathaniel very much so I thought a scrapbook would be a great gift for her. I have major creativity issues in that I cannot come up with a layout on my own - I have to find one that I like and pretty much copy it. And so far, I have not ventured into anything to make the pages 3d - like buttons. Honestly, I like the pages to lay flat...but maybe as I do more, I'll want to indulge. Anyway - if you want to check out some of my pages here are a few of them. The most recent page is the "Me and My Daddy" page. :) I did my mom's book in 8 1/2 x 11 but I'll soon be starting a book for myself and I'll be doing that in 12 x 12.
I can't wait to get to know all of you!! Are any of you in the New England area?? I'm also trying to hook up with some people in the area that I can become friends with and do stuff with. :)
