New LO's and a discovery to share

I am starting my Catch up challenge. I have three layouts completed. I am kind of working backward, recent to older. I came across something quite by accident when running the snowflakes through my Xyron 150 X. I didn't rub the sheet very well, before removing the top layer of the tape, and I had some glue still showing in the little nooks and crannies of the punched out snowflakes. I was going to use some silver glitter on the LO somewhere, and I ended up turning the snowflake over into a little pile of glitter, and the glitter stuck to the glue around the edges and I quite liked the effect, so I did that to more of the snowflakes and I took a picture of it. I was thinking this would be a cool thing to do for diecut letters too, when the glue shows around the edges, or anything really!

Just thought I would pass my experiment along~! :-P Thanks for looking!

Pics are in my scrapbooking album in Webshots, first four pictures of "Blizzard pages"

I love your pages, especially the snow drifts on the last page. The snowflake idea is great. I'll have to try that.

Great LO Linda! I really like the snowdrifts you made...great idea. Very creative way to take an "oops" with glitter and make it a "ta da!". :-)
