It is rough. People are so monied out between putting on the Thanksgiving feast and Christmas that the last thing they need is more thay need to spend on. Although, the one advantage is that the shopping is great that day... after christmas sales and everything your sure to find great prices on things, but the only drawback to that is that it's the biggest return day too... so that can be pretty bad. Mom and I used to have a tradition of going shopping that day for my b-day, but it just got too much of a crowd. Some we can handle, but they are so huge now.

Lol... Yeah, you better get busy buttering up the hubby to get that new toy.

Mine is January 24th ... It does get left out sometimes. I've had so many 'this counts for your birthday and Christmas's usually only when it was a big gift.

I'm in love with my BossKut as are my new scrappy friends who have tried it. We've used, QK, BossKuts and Sizzlets and all worked really well. All we had to do is change the cutting pad for the sizzlets. I've found that I get really frustrated when I have to start sandwiching a die and cardstock between two pieces of plastic and then manage to get it to fit between a roller. Maybe its just me! Anyhow, I had a lot of fun watching the two friends who came over to sit with me Tuesday and Wednesday make the funky Santa below.

The hat, face, beard, body, funny legs and funky shoes are all individually set into the 3x4 inch die! Just too cute! M-C

*covers ears* Lalalalalalalala....I can't hear you! I'm trying to avoid taking the full diecut plunge here, and you're not helping! LOL I still have yet to get me a Sizzix alpha for my Sizzix. I've been so good! :-( I haven't seen the BossKut, though. But I need another die cut machine like I need a whole in my head! LOL

Anji,

You mean the Quickutz "Revolution" machine? I think it looks very smart and modern. Have you seen the new tall alphabets which could be used in this machine? Very nice too! I have the QK squeeze tool and Tag-A-Long so I cannot really ask for a new machine just yet... my Christmas wish is for a complete set of cat's eyes ink pads (all 72 of them) because I can never find the right ink colour when I need one.
