That would be $519.74 for just the upper case alphabet.......you could buy a Cricut and 4-6 cartridges for that.

Yup looks like you're right. They are 4" high though I still think that they should be less than $13.00

It seems insane for them to think that anyone would pay these prices when the Cricut can cut 4 inch high letters and a cartridge takes up alot less space than 26 large sizzix dies. Plus you have to buy the new Sizzix cutter to use them.

Holy cow! They sure are proud of their products!!! :-O

Think I'll pass, and just get some chipboard letters and trace them or something. Gracious.

Those are the 4 inch tall ones. Stampin Up has the big stamps like that. I bought a few specific letters when they were on special. That's one of those things where all of the members of a scrap group buy one or two and share. That's what we did with the Stampin Up ones. Sandy

I just saw the new cutter. They seem to be getting bigger all the time, and so do the dies. When I want a die that big, I just go to the lending library and use the Accu-cut. A lot of public libraries have Accu-cuts and dies they let people use. There is one down by Evansville that you have to call in advance and get your name down for a specific time period to use the machine because they are so busy. But they do have lots of dies and alphabets. No cost, just bring your own paper.

Good gracious! They're certainly proud of them, aren't they? But I thought Sizzix was going bye-bye due to Ellison pulling out and all that. I guess I misunderstood...hmm.

I would say that they are out of their tree!!

Speaking of going out of business and the products being sold by the parent company, makes you wonder. Sizzix new die cut machine looks so much like the Ellison Big Shot too.

From what i have been looking at the new dies Sizzix has and upcoming, I am not ipressed not see anything that fancies my eye. I think the Cuddlebug line fro Provo craft is gonna be a better hit.
