Okay, my brother's 40th birthday is coming up so I decided that I'd send him
40 postcards by his birthday. This was just the end of last week. I didn't have 40 days to send them so they are getting sent out in batches. Next time I think this is a great idea somebody please remind me that it took forever to make them!!!!!
I used a SU stamp set and lots of other stamps, mostly SU. I used a truck stamp and made a "hill" then stamped the truck approaching the hill, going up the hill, over the hill and finally on the otherside of the hill. I decided the truck needed something in the bed. so on the trip up the hill I put different things in the bed of it. Then Deb suggested that I put everything in the bed of the truck and having things falling off, out of the truck. It was a really cute idea so today when I began working on the final
20 postcards I loaded up the bed and outside of it, falling off the back, ect. I have a crib with a rope attached to the back of the truck as though it's towing it, and a cow with a balloon and a big rabbit with a birthday cake at the end. I hope he likes them all. It's been fun but teadous to make 40. I'll post some of them when they are all complete.
