Dawn! Finally. I did something with the seashells!

Ok, it's not a brilliant photo and the necklace looks much better when I'm wearing it but here it is. I took every seashell I had left from that wonderful set and made them into this necklace. Each strand can be worn separately or all of them twisted together.

It took a long time for me to get the right inspiration but I'm really happy with how the necklace(s) came out. I wanted to do justice to your wonderful beads.

Hope you like it.

The other frosted lampwork is Mike's and Emma Ralph's.

Wow, Sue!!! Your necklace is beautiful!! Love the combination of frosted beads with the silver seashell beads and Dawn's lampwork seashells. The frosted ones remind me of sea glass.

OH...MY...GAWD!!!! I just about hit the floor when I saw this. It's SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I've always pictured in my mind, my shells being used this way, with the silver fishes and shells and all. And the multistrand is perfect as it lends a "flowing coral reef" feel to it. The other etched glass beads looks like seaglass and go so nicely with the shells. What a perfectly gorgeous necklace! (I hope you don't mind, but I've saved the photo to drool over again and again!)

Su, I am floored!!!....I am klunked, big time!!!....I am so glad you used your shells before you gave them all away!...LOL!

That klunk means a lot to me. I adore those beads with all my heart and didn't have a clue as to what to do with them.

I'm SO glad you like it, I'll take a few more photos this week and send you a copy. I'm very honoured if you'd put them in your gallery.

Wow! That's absolutely stunning. You did a great job of capturing the deep, underwater feel of the ocean with that necklace. I love it.

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments. I really fell in love with Dawn's work, and spend my spare time virtually stalk... erm... cherishing her work online.

I didn't know how to do them up until Mike made the etched beads that I used in the necklace, everything just sort of clicked and voila, a necklace I am really proud of.

It's down to Dawn and her wonderful seashells though. I just love looking at them.

Thanks! I've worn it a couple of times already and take it with me to the bead fairs, I want people to see how amazing Dawn's shells are.

It certainly gets attention. :-D
