you come to the right place..... they are almost the same, a variation of it.

this is how I make them set oven to 350º

  1. 40 jalapenos (believe me this is the minimum, you'll like um so much and eat them up) slice one side and clean the inside out of seeds and veins, remove stem
  2. 3-4 pkgs of cream cheese (not the neufutheful(sp?) cheese, it is softer then regular stuff a chunk of cream cheese in the jalapeno, fill it up
  3. 6-8 pkgs of the cheapest bacon - (because you will use a lot!! um-um) wrap one piece of bacon over the cut line, and wrap around. Next piece goes over one end and around, third piece over opposite end and around. total 3 pieces. If you like then you can do one more piece
  4. Place these on a foil lined or disposible sheet pan sprayed with pam (or similar) close together. 2nd sheet pan might be needed. set oven to 350º
  5. Pan will have lots of grease on it,be prepared with something to dump it off in so they don't sit in it when done.
  6. Grab a plate, fork and knife and DIG IN!!!!

geez... Now I gotta go to the store tomorrow.. I made myself hungry!!!

BACON!! This sounds wonderful! Thank you April!

We had some Jalapeno Poppers at a fast food place and though they weren't homemade they were good. Thought I'd make some at home and really enjoy them.

Some made with sausage... that sounds really good too. Thank you so much for the recipe. I can't wait to try both recipes.

they have some in the frozen food section of the stores called "pepper poppers". they come in cream cheese or cheddar cheese filled. I usually get those ever-now and then. Throw them in the fry daddy for a few and enjoy. Can't remember the name right off but it is a , well I think a purple box.

I originally looked for some frozen ones and haven't found a store that carries them. I know I've seen them. At the time I thought they'd be too hot for me to eat, but the ones I had at the fast food joint were not hot. Just really good!

the frozen ones are poppers brand and only contain 1/2 of a jalapeno in them.
