Well know it has been some, been with feeling yucky, THANKS DEB!, (called her and knew she and kids had been sick and I got IT!) anyhow had touch of flu last week. Worked on Wed, went to dr on Thu, was not wnated at work as boss and ole man was gone so made plans to get better

- HA!! Had to do things for others for pending storm which blew in EARLY on Fri morning.

We were to go to Dallas Sunday in th ebuss, but oNLY becuse DT got stranded in Phoenix and decided the weather truly was bad, called and told me trip was cancelled about 5 pm Sat. I had news for him, with it as bad as it was TO BE an with my home being all electric, I was not going!

Anyhow here in OK City we ended up with officially 2.5 inches of sleet, most areas of town got close to 4 and we are lucky. The ice went south and est by 30 to 50 miles. Tonite over 110, 000 with no power. The roads even this evening here are horrible as they can not plow ice. All the sleet packed in to that. Walking across the yard is a trip waiting to happen - LOL!

About puter, well after leting another stinking update load, it caused me problems, I dleted it, then did a system restore back before that and crashed the thing. Spent last Moday on phone with Dell tech to get it back up, but still have problems - GRR!!! Their tech service is ok, but I will not deal with them again. The other parts of their system and SERVICE absoltely sucks. they do not care either! Sorry Mell and Yana.

So I ordered a new laptop from HP which I wil get end of month. Can not wait as I will have portable thing for trips now.

Hope everyone is OK, Happy Birthday to all I mised, get well to those who are illing or healing and whatever I missed.

((HUGS ALL!))

Glad to see you're back Dave. If you want to be able to access the group easily when away, try using the $14 a year individual.net server. I use it with outlook and I can access the group no matter where I am or what provider the hotel or people have as a provider. There is info on it with a link on the website.

Feel better! Hope the ice melts soon (but doesn't cause flooding) & the power stays on.

Hey Dave. Being sick is no fun. I've had it now 3 weeks. Last week I finally went to the dr. and I have pneumonia. I've never had it before and I feel old. Seems like I only have a few hours of energy each day. On top of that I have a head cold I weez. Yuck. Oh. then my kids both had the flu over the weekend. Tanner the youngest decided to get it when we was on our way home from family's on Sunday, which was an hour and a half away. Good thing I have a plastic bag in the truck. So, we stopped at the rest area to dump it for the next round. John went in to get a sprite. He comes out with a couple more shopping bags. I thought maybe he raided the garbage. He was not a happy camper. He said he asked the cleaning guy for a garbage bag because our 6 year old had the flu in the truck and we still had an hour to get home. He said "can't I have to account for every garbage bag". What! There was a nice truck driver stand by and said john could have a couple of bags that he had out in his truck. See....I knew truck drivers are sweet!!! So he saved our day. John's ready to send a letter to the state with a few dollars for the next time some family needs a bag for their sick kid. LOL.

Hey now, I didn't make you sick. In fact, I'm feeling better now, so :P~~~~~~ LOL I do hope you get to feeling better soon, though.

We were on the way home from MIL's when you called about the puter problems. If need be, give DH a yell some evening. But having your own laptop will be nice though! Then you'ld be able to keep in touch while on the road. :-)

Glad you are back! I hope all the coughing and wheezing goes away quickly. My hubby has been sick with it for 4 weeks now. Not fun!

Congrats on your new computer!
