Woo hoo! Did you take pictures? And what kind of ice cream did you have? What is the maximum size quilt you can do on your frame? I have a few that won't fit on mine. I may send you one to practice on.

Don't forget to take pictures... You may even want to start your own photo album with pictures that especially highlight your quilting. That could in time be helpful when customers don't know what they want.... you could show them some of the other projects you have done and they can get a better feel for your suggestions.

Way to go! I have often thought about taking some quilts out to the LQS to be quilted but have not done it. I suppose it has to do with knowing who is working on my quilt. Years ago I sent a quilt top (Double Wedding Ring) out to someone that advertised over the internet. That experience soured me. I never saw the quilt again. It was a very frustrating experience. I know in my heart of hearts that most quilters are reputable and would have returned the quilt or whatever. So now I think I would have to watch whoever was working on my quilts. So I just haven't done it.

Thanks Mary. I don't think I would call my work "wonderful" just yet. I am sticking to simple edge to edge patterns right now. The work I have done so far looks pretty good, but I haven't done anything too complicated yet.

Hi Laurie No pics yet. The owner took the quilt home to show it off, but she will be bringing it back. She wants to learn how to put binding on it and I agreed to show her how. I'll take pics when she brings it back. The ice cream was vanilla because I was in a vanilla mood that day :-) I think I can do up to about a 127" quilt. I'm not sure what Gammill reccomends.

Thanks Kate Sorry, no pics yet. I will be sure to take some when the quilt returns. I am going to show the owner how to put the binding on. Probably next week. I definitely need to start up a webshots album. I tried it once, but never got the hang of it.
