This is a public commendation for the OTT-LITE company for excellent customer service.
I've had their Arial lamp for over three years.
The warranty is for a year, but I got online to their customer service contact. I asked if I could get a replacement for the plastic piece that broke, and offered to send a picture of it. Meanwhile, I took the lamp apart so I'd be able to replace the piece.
Within a day I had a reply. She asked for the picture.
Within hours of sending the picture, she told me they didn't have the part. If I sent the serial# and manufacture information from the base, she'd send authorization to return the entire top of the lamp and they'd send me a new one. I pay postage both ways.
I'm thoroughly pleased. I like their product and how they stand by it. Liz Megerle
