Ive noticed today that my cat has been following me around. He never does this. Hes constantly at my side and only leaves me long enough to get food or use his litterbox. I was just wandering if hes trying to let me know that something is wrong with him or if theres something wrong with me.
not sure about cats but the last time our dog did this with me I was pregnant and didn't realise for another 7 weeks or so.

I have a cat...she is diabetic. When I knew something was wrong with her, she never came out to see us. She stayed quietly in the bedroom, and started to slow down on what she was eating. To me if something was wrong with animals, they stay by themselves.

As my brat cat sits on my keyboard and I type with one finger to get around him... animals usually do stay by themselves if something is wrong with them. I have heard of the things the ladies were telling you. They stick by you when your pregnant... or when soemthing is different about you. MIne of course is extra mushy! He always has been.
I have two and one especially is my baby. When I am down, stressed or not well, they both want to be by me. My baby, Misty when I am mad and upset will be especially like velcro, purrs and well all I have to say is, SHHE helps and is truly a blessing!!!
So, in my experiences, it isn't them, it is YOU!! So be careful, be good and see someone (mom even!) and love those furbabies to death do you apart!!

The best of it was I was suffering at the time as I had damaged the inside lining of my shoulder blade, it's a reoccurring thing with me. Being I was in pain we figured that's why Maxx was shadowing me. When I laid on the floor to get some relief he would lay right by me and just seemed to be everywhere I was. When the shoulder recovered Maxx still stuck by me. 4 pregnancy tests were negative so it all finally made sense when the 5th came up positive ! Sadly Maxx is no longer with us so when testing for the next one we are trying for I have to rely on the tests next time
