OT: Forced cleaning!

I haven't been able to see but about a 12X12inch square of my craft table for about 6 months! So, today I began cleaning it off. Whew! Not a big area why is it taking me all day to clean. I suppose if I wasn't distract regularly I might get it done. I feel like an 8 year old asked to clean their room today.

Lol. Did you find anything you had maybe lost? Too funny!

How about finding things you forgot you bought?

I've been doing one of those 'store hops' over the past week. There are 8 stores involved and, of course, they are in five different directions from my house. Three of the stores were a two hour drive away. Four of us got together last Saturday and made a day of it going to those three. then DD and I hit two others that were open on Sunday and the sixth one evening this past week as they were open late enough to get to after work. We are going to get the last two tomorrow in-between a workshop I'm helping teach for childcare and our monthly crop. I've seen so many new things at all of these stores, tried several new products and did make-n-takes at each place. Over the course of the week I accidentally bought the same thing at two different stores. And I was trying to be so careful with my money, budgeted an amount for each store. Oh, well, I can keep it for a scrapbuddy gift.

Good luck on the "spring clean" Lynne - although I know it's almost Autumn in your part of the world :).

I've been doing some drawer cleaning (only one at a time - lol) and I'm amazed at how many stuff I "discoverd" still unopened!

That sounds like a great week you've had Sandy! And I'm sure you'll find someone happy to "liberate" you from your extra purchase!

I take one Saturday in a month and do that. I've got one large shop (specializing just in Scrapbooking) and 3 smaller stores, doing crafting in general, all in 15minutes drive from my home

On my last trip - I discovered a new stationary shop that had lots of scrapping and stamping stuff aswell and way less expensive than the exclusive scrapping stores! Just love it when you get unexpected surprises like that!

Do you get a reward for cleaning your room? haha! Good luck! Linda

LOL I completely understand your feelings Lynne. It's much more fun to fondle and play than to clean!
