OT: Help with Christmas projects. Charm bracelets

I need some help. I'm very slow this year to making my homemade gifts for my family. This year I'm making them the big Italian charm bracelets with the photos on them. Has anyone ever made these. I have all the supplies. I just need help getting the pictures to the right size I need them. I'm trying Kodak easyshare but no luck. I need them to be .65x.80 inches. I can print them index size, but it's not the correct size. Is there a free program I can use to crop and print in the size I want. I know I'm probably asking for a lot. Thanks!

when you use your printer you can usually pic a custom size to print in the preferences... check that and see. I also have a program called Adobe photoshop home edition that I like to edit and crop photos.

Thanks for the idea April, but it didn't work. I can only choose a few sizes on my Epson printer, the normal picture sizes. I don't see any place to make it the special size I want. I'd get the adobe photo shop, but I don't want to spend 200.00 for something I won't really use but a couple of times.

If you have a pc you probably have paint on it under programs/accessories/Paint

  1. Open the programme
  2. Click File/Open
  3. Click on image attribute
  4. Make sure the units sais Inches
  5. Change the width and the heigth to the size you want
  6. Click OK
  7. Click on file Save As
  8. Save the picture with a new name.

I just saw that Amazon.com has it (Photoshop Elements 6) for $58 with rebate and discount and I think free shipping. That's pretty cheap and you'll probably use it once you get used to it. It is the industry standard for photo editing. After Christmas I plan to take a tutorial so I can get fluent with it. Hilda

I'm sorry it is called Adobe photo DELUXE (not photoshop) and at most I think I paid $39 for it.

I do have paint MC. I have a question though. When I resize, it doesn't resize the whole picture. It shrinks the box and is part of the picture. What am I doing wrong.

I'll have to look into April. Thanks. Maybe after Christmas. Trying not to spend too much on this project and especially since Christmas is in a week. Yikes.
