Hi All,

Well it is 6:30 p.m. and we're home from our adventure in "the big apple." We managed to get into the city around 1 p.m. and surprised M-C by being a little early.

We went to the diner attached to the hotel and had lunch. We had grilled cheese and Larry had a grilled chicken on a tossed salad. I showed her my two scrapbooks (the generic and Sarah's book).

Our conversations ranged from growing up to of course scrapping. Larry, who was worried it was going to be all talk about scrapbooking, joined in the conversation and we had a very comfy three-way conversation. She and Rick are so looking forward to settling into their new home in Tampa. I hope next time Rick will join us but I totally understand the deadline he is under. There is always next time. M-C gave me two sheets of the most beautiful floral rub-ons and I look forward to using them.

I know I enjoyed meeting her. I am so glad to have met her and can now put a personality to a photo and her posts. I hope throughout 2006 to meet more of you guys. Our picture link is above.

Hugs, Kate

Oh I had such a great time meeting Kate and Larry! They are such warm, friendly, hugable people! The time went really fast and the conversation was never stalled or akward. Her two albums were wonderful, as always so much better when you get to see the artistry in person. I was also so moved that Kate would take the trip into the city to visit with me and it speaks mountains that Larry was there to hold her hand.

I've got a couple of good shots to share, but it will have to wait till I can get the time, probably after I get back from my next trip.

Again, thanks Kate for a wonderful afternoon and give Larry a big hug from me!

Look like you two had fun.
