OT: Ice cream

My son took his mom out for lunch today...aww ain't he sweet! Anyway, we went to a Chinese buffet place and on their dessert bar, they had this Birthday Cake flavored ice cream. I have never heard of it, and I love cake and ice cream mixed together. OMG! It was so delicious!!! I am not a big ice cream eater, persay..but THIS was awesome! I tried to ask the server if he knew what company makes it or where they get it from, and he could barely speak English..LOL So I went to the Prairie Farms website to check, and it IS one of their flavors. I intend on asking our frozen food manager if he can get it in! Am I the only one that has never heard of it before?

awwwww thats so sweet of him to do that for you.its something you dont get enough of t hats for sure..as for the ice cream that sounds yummy...i would love to find out where to get it...thanks for sharing chatty cathy

I've had that...it is yummy! If you have a Cold Stone Creamery near you, they have cake batter ice cream that is downright heavenly!

I see it at UNITED grocery store all the time. It is BLUE BELL brand. check their site

That's so sweet! I LOVE b-day cake ice cream! It is so good. I get it at Cold Stone or Marble Slab. Add some chocolate syrup and sprinkles...UMMMMMM

I have Cold Stone Creamery 30 miles away in Champaign on the U of I campus, I believe. I have never been there! Wow I have really been missing out here..you all have been keeping it a secret! LOL I think I read they have a birthday club thing..my birthday is this month. Maybe I will have to make a trip over there!

Turkey Hill brand has it, the flavor is called Party Cake.
