OT: It's Snowing here in Seattle

Since I am here - I thought I'd just share my excitement that it's snowing. I always turn into (more of) a little kid at heart when it snows. I LOVE It. It's so beautiful.

Maybe I wont' be able to run the errands I was supposed to this weekend, and just have to stay home and scrapbook!!! :)

Sounds beautiful :)) Can you believe it, I've never seen snow! We only get a very light coating on the high mountains sometimes in South Africa. Once my DS and her hubby was travelling home and had to go through a very high pass. Suddenly it started snowing! It was so unusual that they stopped and starting playing like kids! There wasn't a lot, only enough to make snow balls :)) Fortunately they had their camera handy, as they were returning from holidays!

I love it when it snows. Everything looks so clean and beautiful. I always get up early and sit with a blanket wrapped around me and just look out the window. Peaceful, quiet and clean - until the kids hit the yard!!! Sandy

Being Jessica's neighbor and having a dog that needs walked at odd times like 2 A.M. I SAW YOUR LIGHTS ON AND HOPED YOU WERE SCRAPBOOKING! The snow is amazing, isn't it? How it lights up the night and everything has a wonderful happy glow about it. What Jessica fails to mention is that we live on a lake so it really is an incredible sight. Jess, you know which door to knock on if you want some scrapping company... Mine. Aren't I lucky? Aren't you guys jealous! Sure you are. :)

I'd like it to stop raining/sleeting/ just being yiccy here in NYC. Then again my DH let me sleep till 11 a.m. and I'm happily scrapbooking until whenever.

I'm also photographing other layouts for posting and possibly sending for contests. Gee the link to scrapSubmit.com has made my scrapping juices flowing. I showed my DH and he said two things "cool, there goes the DR table."

Rarely! We maybe get a small fall once a year - of course every tenm years or so we get a MAJOR dump, and then the City shuts down (Seattle Drivers tend to freak when it snows) and that's actually for me my favorite!

I am still a big kid at heart and LOVE to play in the snow! :)

Course, I can feed that love by skiing which I need to do soon now that our areas have finally opened!!! (I ususlly teach skiing, but ook this year off. going through withdrawls. lol) Anyway - today, monday, it's mostly gone, but still a wee icy.

*two days later* Is there still snow? I love the look of snow when it's that fresh blanket. Around here, though, people go nuts with the first flake. There's usually this mad dash to the store for bread, and other needs..."just in case it gets bad". LOL

On the other hand, how many days were you stuck at home this past December? I thought it was funny until I saw the conditions of the streets. Better to stay home with your milk and bread than risk breaking a hip outside on the ice!

I'm in northern California and was shocked to go out to take my daughter to school today and everything was frozen. At noon today it was still 35 degrees F. Don't think we'll get any snow, but I did wear gloves today. :)

Everybody's getting cold weather everywhere else but here these days. We've had two weeks now of 73-77 degree temps. Not that I'm complaining. This is the cheapest electric bill I've had since I've been here. Don't have to run a heater, nor an air conditioner. I like it like that. They say that's suppose to change come Friday night. We'll see.
