OT: Off to Paris, France tomorrow (11/12)

Please keep me and my colleagues in your prayers! LSS hunting may be out of the question, but I'm taking a few supplies to keep me entertained in the hotel room. :-) Who knows, I may get a LO or two done.

I'll be back online on 11/21. Take care everyone!

Au revoir mes amis !

Be careful. I've seen some crazy stuff going on over there in the news. Sandy

Have a SAFE trip and be careful! They are certainly not showing any discretion where these attacks happen (ie: churches, schools, etc.)

Be careful and have a safe trip! Is this your first time to Paris? And I'm assuming that you will be taking your camera, right? :-)

Have a wonderful time Amy. It is a beautiful city. If you get a chance, take one of the lunch or dinner boat cruises on Seine. Not only do you get a tour of the city, but you get a yummy meal too. Stay safe.

Bonjour mes amis! I have returned safely. I am very thankful that I did not see a single sign of anything reported on the news. I felt very safe and had a wonderful time.

Can you believe I did not find a single LSS! I even went into the Galleries Lafayette which I could compare to our Macy's in NY or perhaps Harrod's in London. They had a hobby/craft department that I checked out. Lots of needlepoint and knitting, but nothing for scrapbooking! No papers, no tools, not adhesives! It was sad! All you TLC's and CM have a HUGE untapped market!

The business portion of the trip was successful and I had time to have a great time. We walked the Louvre, Notre Dome and go an express VIP entry to the top of the Eiffel Tower -- no waiting in lines and it was free!

I've had more chocolate in the past week that I've had in a month! I've drunk more wine than in the last year combined! I'm positive I've gained 30 pounds, but what a way to go! We ate rich desserts at both lunch and dinner.

We were so busy having fun, that I got very little scrapping done. I did finish one paper piecing and got a few more cut out.

Thank you for all the prayers. They really worked!!!
