OT: Prayers Please

Ever have one of the picture perfect days--

70 degrees sunny money in the pocket good day at work full tank of gas

Then BAM Murphy's law takes effect.

My DS (Elizabeth) who has been riding horses since the age of 14 fell off her bucking horse today and broke not one but both legs when the horse finally threw her off one of her legs got stuck in the sturrup so her ankle is also fractured as she went flying off the horse. She is fine she is in the hospital that my friend's wife works so he and Donna are tending to Elizabeth.

So Sarah said "uh oh" and Roy didn't think it was a bad as the hope it looked.

So an extra prayer or two would be appreciative as Sarah has embrased her Taurusean Terrible Twos to the max. I'm heading there after work tomorrow and my Mom is heading there as soon as she can secure bus tickets.

Oh man. The poor thing. Prayers going her way. I'm sure it will be a long recovery not being able to get around very well. I hope things improve greatly for her.

Hi everyone,

Happily it is only one leg but both bones in the calf half of the leg. The other leg is fine.

Elizabeth is going into surgery tomorrow for a rod and pin to be permanently implanted in her leg.

Sarah is being a good girl she helped me vaccum (ok dust bust) the rug and ate her big girl slice of pizza for dinner and all of her juice.

thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I'll pass them on to her.

I'm so glad to find that Elizabeth is going to be ok. Hopefully Sarah will continue to be a helper while Mommy gets better!
