First, thanks so much for the prayers and concern! Mindi, you are right, I did feel better after typing all of that out! As it turns out things were not as grim as they were painted to be...one girl was taken to the hospital for x-rays, as the vibraphone struck her as it flew off the cart...she is just bruised a bit, but is otherwise fine. We lost one xylophone, but the rest of the instruments were playable, if a little banged up...Jeremy is fine, he managed to jump off of the cart as it went over, and then had to run from one of the tympani as it flew off and chased him. The adults on the cart were hurt the most, with more bruises and scrapes...but one of the dads on the cart said that considering how the accident looked, it should have been a lot worse. The band took the field 45 minutes late to a standing ovation, finished to another one and ended up placing 3rd overall out of 16 bands, with percussion placing 1st. Jeremy, strange child that he is thought the whole situation was fun! Thanks again for the support, Arleen in GA
