Finally, I've had 7 bills on the Where's George site and never got a hit. On Monday the 1 bill my son entered got a hit. It traveled from Orangevale, CA to Brooklyn, NY in 109 days approximately 3,600 miles. Kind of fun to track a bill.

I ordered a wheresgeorge stamp....I now have 3 different ones. I also add a black and white cow to mine. I have marked over 35,000 bills. Several websites that do name stamps do wheres george stamps.

I have two bills setting on my dresser that I need to register. Okay, one of them is actually the very first one April sent me 2 or 3 yrs ago. The other I got at the grocery store. I AM going to register them.

8-} One of these days. I spent all the bills I got in Indy from April at the speedway. That should've got them well circulated.

That's so cool! I'm one of those guilty of not posting. I've had 2 bills in my life and never went to the website. I always meant too but somehow, mysteriously, my impulsive scrapbooking shopping fiend (also known for impulsively shopping outside the scrapbooking circuit) disposes of it!

Now, reading this line, you've got me excited. I want to play!! but, who knows when I'll get another bill in my pockets!

My mother got one a couple years ago and I probably wouldn't have known what it was until April. She pulled it out of her wallet at a basketball game and asked, "Do you know what this means?" The kids and I got so excited and came home and recorded it on the computer. It has not got a single hit since then. So, it's important for the fun that when you get one to type it into the site so it gets tracked. It's really just a fun thing. Not life shattering, but I sure do enjoy it.

I have bought a few hundred dollars worth of April's bills and disposed of them all over the country in past couple years. Even in places like parts of California and back east where they are supposed to be "in" doing the computer thing all the time.

Very few hits, but i think it is like lynne says, it is the excitement of it that makes it interesting, especially if one turns up after a LONG time!

Now when I collect a bill I log it and then send it to April to log it too. I am sure that that helps the initial person get excited!! Oh, i dispose of the bills at toll booths, stores, LSS' , gas stations, truck stops and everywhere else I stop.

It was the one you gave Erik in Monterey that went all the way to Brooklyn.
