Well because the Ole man likes me so much (huummpprrhh!!) he wants to keep me busier this summer more than normal. Thanks I guess!
Anyhow since this is the first year we have no Six Flags Parks contracts we only have the local parks shows. The local park was bought along with the other 5 by one group of business people. Anyhow as a result DT has nothing more to prove to anyone so all "his" attention has been well you know where.
Last weekend was opening weekend and the park was PACKED. Had a lot to do with beautiful weather and 3 straight days of record rains before I am sure!!
Anyhow for the season here, Monday thru Friday I am the main 'opera house' lead technical person running sound and lights. On Saturdays I work concerts with MOST (we shall see) Sunday's off.
So I may be scarcer in here than years past and yes it helps with the dr co-pays I am now going to unwilling have to pay, not to mention pay for the new truck I bought last month.
I also look at it this way, if I am busy my mind is occupied! That is a good thing!
