OT: Work Schedule - 1st Stop Detroit

It was a long very slow summer and now we have a ton of stuff going on!!! I am really excited and praying that when I see the dr next week I can get some pain pills that will help me cope more than I have been as of late.

The biggest thing we have is really exciting! A big producer out of NYC is sponsoring a special show of big named illusionists to gauge interest of a muli city tour possibly starting next year. About 5 years ago a similiar event was filmed, called the World's Greatest Magicians. The same is going to happen again.

Anyhow we are selected as the 'host' as we have the largest illusions and the awesome set that will be used. It is awful to work with, heavy as all made ouf of steel!

, click on the Fisher theater link. I leave here on Sat the 20th of Oct, get there Sunday nite. We then have 3 days to set up and shows ar Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun. We then will have two ds to strike so I will leave on Wed the 31st to come back home. Not sure where we will be staying but sure it will be one of those exclusive hotels downtown there somewhere :) Anyhow in the 8/9 days will be there I am hoping to get some free time to do some sightseeing as well as look up a old girl friend's family from early 80's time frame. I want to go over to Canada too, if not just to say I FINALLY have been there!!
