Precious Picture but it is a wallet

I have a great shot of Roy with Sarah but it is a wallet size. I want to include it in her album since it is so hard to get a nice picture of Sarah with her daddy.

Any suggestions on how I can make the picture stand out on a 12x12 page?

I've got the cardstock (forest green) and patterned paper (masculine stripes in coordinating colors) that I want to use and a quote that is printed on cream cardstock.

Help I'm lost in a creative brain freeze.

TIA< Kate

Is there a way for you to enlarge it maybe? Or hmm....let me think about this on one of the boards or somewhere I read were someone did this without enlarging the picture. Let me see if I can find that.

I think you can enlarge photos in some of those kiosk places, but I'm not sure if you lose quality.

I believe that if you scan it at a high enough dpi you can then print it slightly larger. However if this isn't an option, or it doesn't quite work, matting it and placing it in the top left part of the page will do the trick. I would use two mats, the first at least 1/2 an inch and the second

1/2 to 3/4 of an inch bigger than the first. Just make sure that any other elements you add, even the journaling box is smaller than the smaller of the two mats use. I would not put another picture on there unless it was the same size as the first and was only matted at 1/4 inch.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm trying not to enlarge it.

I may have figured out a way but your suggestions are helpful, keep 'em coming.

Maybe try using a pp with a pretty scene or something. Still mat the photo like M-C suggested and then with the pretty paper the photo would be the focal point. Barb:o)

Kate, I looked at your LO's and they look great! Not sure I'd have had the courage to use a wallet but it works.
