RAK Question

I know they are random, but shouldn't I be keeping track of who hasn't received something yet?

I guess the whole idea is that these things are not expected, but it seems kind of unfair to me that maybe one person be getting several packages while some have received none.

Again, I think I'm answering my own question, but I wanted to know what others thought about it or how do you personally go about RAKing ppl.

TIA

We did have a list that was getting passed around with the RAKs addresses. As you bought things or sent things to people, you were suppose to mark their names with a check mark. The next person who got the list could pick anyone they wanted to send a RAK to, but were suppose to try to keep the check marks sort of even out. I don't know if that list is finished or not.

Does anyone know where the list is now?

If it is finished then you can send a RAK to anyone you want too. Connie K

Connie took care of it pretty much.. but .. my opinion is.. you should keep track of who YOU send to.. and if your guts tell you to try and send a little something to everyone.. GREAT! some people just pick one or two and send to them.. prolly for several reasons. HTH

I think if you want to keep track for your own reasons, that's fine, but the idea is that it's RANDOM and that you do what you feel you have to do! There are no rules to RAK, just fun! (At least that's what I've always understood!) ;)

I have the list and add a few people a week to it. I have checked off the ones I have sent something to. Then when I sent out this week I marked them off too. Next I will pick 10 different ones. Eventually I will have sent everyone something. I have sent out 20 different ones so far. about 60 more to go!!!....LOL

In fact the second set I mailed should be entering their mailboxes today and within the next week.!!!!

Connie, Are you talking about the RAK TAG from the OZ newsgroup? I believe you were on that one. I wonder where that is now too.

RAKs are to people whom you've gotten to know, or just want to send something just because. For example, if I end up sending something to Shelly and my sister you'll only hear from Shelly about the RAK, because my sister doesn't use newsgroups. It's basically something that you WANT to do, rather than HAVE to send out something to everyone.

Thank you guys for all the answers.

I feel the same way about this, and like I said, I know they are random. Only wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.... or someone =)

Thanks again.
