September CCC Done!!

Yes, it's done, and I've uploaded the scans to my blog. They have no puppy slobber/tooth marks and no rabbit tooth marks. LOL I've had a terrible time with not just the dog but one of the rabbits. He's extremely intelligent and gets out of his cage sometimes at night and explores. The last time he got out and explored he got onto my desk and ate nearly everything on it, including directions I'd printed out, papers from my attorney that I had just recieved! I've already had to tell the attorney I needed replacement papers several weeks ago as he ate one then too! I'm seriously considering rabbit stew! LOL (no, I'm really not he's an adorable bunny, he just likes to explore and tast everything) Anyway, I completed 4 of the cards, but only uploaded 3 as one of the scans came out really wonky and I decided not to include it. This is a technique called a bandana technique. It really cool and easy! Anyway they are on my blog.

These are the instructions I sent to Deb. Here's the technique: Stamp on any paper (doesn't have to be glossy nor does it have to be pure white) I used a piece of 8 ½ x 11 whisper white. You want the black as black as you can possibly get it. (I used staz on and my stamp positioner so I could stamp the images several times. Then I used the brightest color ink I could find that would be "christmasy", of course you would use whatever colors went with the theme you stamped. I sponged on the colors, but when I tired of trying to get the colors on dark enough I used direct to paper technique. I then cut the paper to size. Then I used a white jelly pen, some brands are better than others, and just went around and high-lighted the stamped images. It's super easy and looks like you spent a lot of time on it; when actually the most time spent was on the highlighting.
