Here is a sample of some LOs that I have made this year. I need to improve my photography of the LOs, but it's a start!

Great LO's. I like the way you did 'The Art of Laughter" and the bead flower is great. Your WMC page looks nice witht he extra open space. In the LSS club I am in we discussed leaving "white space" (not necessarily white in color, but empty) on a LO and your's looks great. But when I try it I feel like I am leaving something out and want to try to fill it up. Thanks for sharing, Sandy

Love your pages. I really like the bead flower on the Friends page, very unique. I also like the circle journaling on the Divine Island page.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

The beaded flower wasn't too difficult, although it did take quite a while! I used a stencil to draw the flower in pencil, then traced the pencil lines with PVA glue and stuck the beads on one at a time by hand

- it took a long time, but I'm happy with the result! :)

The WMC page was the first time that I have successfully made a LO with "white space". I had always wanted to do one but, same as you Sandy, I always felt like I was leaving something out. When planning this LO, I focussed on having gold/brown trim on everything, and since it often looks better when gold is used minimally it helped me a lot :)

Hello Laura,

I also like the beaded flower. I have lots and lots of little seed beads so it seems like a good use of them. Do I understand correctly that you have not used wire to thread the beads on and just stuck them down with glue? That must have been very time consuming - I would probably get the beads all over the place.

I love the photo of all the shells in your Noumea layout, as well as the Art of Laughter layout.

Hi Klara,

No I didn't thread them onto wire.. though that would make it a lot easier next time! I just used glue. I stuck them each down with the "hole" vertical. I'm a bit of a perfectionist though so I felt it was worth it. lol

Yes, beads went everywhere, and my little brother kept stealing them and running away too!

Wow, I thought the flower was done with wire or string. It looks amazing.

TFS the LO's! I love the "Art of Laughter". It's definately a reminder to scrap the everyday laughter. Thank you!
