Staples exactly at fold

How do I staple papers of a booklet together in a manner that the staples become attached exactly at the fold?

You would need a long-reach stapler to do that.

Your standard office desk type stapler wouldn't be long enough. HTH

You have to use a long-arm stapler and staple the booklet while it's open...

HI

I open my stapler up then position the paper over a soft foam core mouse pad and staple the crease. Carefully pull the pages up from the mouse pad and then using my bone folder I bend over the prongs.

Now that is a great idea Kate!! I would not have thought of that, and I'd been looking at the long arm staplers. They are too pricey for just a few uses. thanks for the tip!
