Trio Adhesive?

I'm curious...Has anyone ever heard of this type of adhesive or seen it at any craft stores? It is called Trio. I saw a lady using it at the LSS a couple of weeks ago on her LO's. She used it for ribbon, and said it was THE best she had ever used. The LSS doesn't sell it, and I had a hard time searching for it online, but finally found a link to it.

Linda, I have a Trio and I love it. The tape comes in three different widths, and is great for ribbons or fibers. It's also strong enough to hold glitter or microbeads, and it's invisible under vellum. It's expensive (about $15), but each width can be refilled separately. The LSS owner where I bought mine says replacing the tape can be tricky, but to bring it to him and he'd be glad to do it. I haven't used up a roll yet, but I will probably take it to him when I do, at least the first time. I really like the way it works.

It can be used for just about anything, but I prefer to use the somewhat less expensive tape runners for paper or cardstock. I do use it for vellum, as I've found the only thing that works better is to run the entire thing through a Xyron. (Not always practical with an 8x10 piece.) I like it for ribbon, because it's stronger than the tape runner, and a lot less messy than liquid glues. I had never heard of the Trio until the LSS owner (Gary, of Rubber Stamp Fantasy, who has taught me a lot) demonstrated it for a group of folks in the store not long ago. He sold several right then and there, including mine. He showed how to use it for glitter, beads and even embossing powder, which I haven't tried yet, though it seems simple and looked great. The only part that he was less than enthusiastic about was replacing the tape rolls. He recommended keeping the box, which has detailed instructions on it, and offered to do replacements himself if we brought him the Trio. Like I said earlier, I'll probably take him up on this. Hanging out at Gary's place can be really bad on my wallet... I've never gotten out of there for less than $50, and usually spend much more. But I keep going back...
