What project/projects are you currently working on?

Could you post pictures of your altered cigar box? Maybe your altered journal front? and I know everyone would like to see pictures of your DS's color book. Have a great time on your trip!! And of course take lots of pictures to scrap!

I know that you took pictures of Logan with the 1st cantaloupe. What fun pictures to scrap, kids and gardening! Sounds like your house keeps you busy, it's always something isn't it?

So glad I could help! I can't wait to hear when she has her baby!!! Oh, I'd like to get her address to send her a card when I find out when she's had her!

With the cards I've been making I've made 4 of each. One for me and one for each of the tins I'm giving away. That has helped in being able to send cards as you say, at the drop of a hat.

Wow, I've enjoyed reading about everyone's projects! It's definately gotten me feeling more creative. And I've been feeling in a slump.

So yesterday while I was at work I was able to get some pages done. I had put together "page kits" so that forced me to use what I took. When I opened some of the kits I looked at the contents and said to myself, "What were you thinking Kenda!!" LOL But I used the items anyway, force me to think creatively. I was able to complete 10 pages!! We didn't make too many runs yesterday. After I packed up my stuff for the evening that was when we got really busy. When I have the time I will get them scanned.

Well I haven't been in much of a scrapping mood lately. I don't know why, except maybe I'm feeling overwhelmed with all that I want (need) to do. I am still working on (lets just say it's still a work in progress) the cruise album from last summer. I have also done some cards and a two page layout for a contest I entered. I'm also working on my title swap items. So much to do, so little time!!

My first big adventure for this summer is to get my scraproom added onto our house. If it would ever stop raining here in NY we can get the contractor here and get started. Once thats done I need to get fully organized. Then once those things are done its play time. I want to start on my disneyworld album, pet album, and misc. scrap pages. I also would like to have cards for different occasions made up ahead of time, never know when you may need a card.

Kenda,

This week I've been working so hard on completing a graduation present for my daughter (she's out of town on her senior trip with a friend to CA.). It is a scrapbook of her first 18 years. Boy has it been a project. Good thing I sorted and scanned most of the pictures when my older daughter graduated 2 years ago. So I had that ready to go. Then about a year ago I've sorted them out and into categories for pages.

Wish me luck! I'll need it in the next week. Her party is Sunday July

2nd.

I've completed my cards for the ATC swap and need to mail those off by tomorrow. So I've been busy.

Today it was in the 90's...and I think I'm melting. Just got home from a local scrapbooking store in the valley and my auto thermometer said

99 degrees.

Great topic Kenda. I think I would be going crazy with all of that. I haven't posted for awhile 'cause I've been trying to keep my sanity with everything happening around me. I am working on a gift album for my MIL for Christmas. Trying to make it a bit of a Grandma's brag book for

2006. I'm finding the 6x6 size to be a challenge. This spring was busy with Baton recital and Dance recital and all that goes with it. I'm hoping to scrap some of the pics from those this summer (or fall?). The most recent LO's I've done were pics from our vacation in 2005. We are in the planning stages of the 2006 vacation. I have also been trying to do some gardening in amongst the rainy days. My DH and I also play ball May to July. We had 6 rainouts in May and June that will have to be played before the 15th of July. I am also in the process of refinishing a nightstand that I plan to use to hold scrap supplies.

I have so many projects that need doing. The title swap, my DSIL's wedding album. Thankfully I'm still witing for her to send me the pictures. My soon to be born neice's calendar album. My MILs pictures aren't finished being fixed from Katrina. I have an album I need to make for her with some beautiful vacation pictures. But at least I got started on the embellishment part of the title swap last night.

My car broke down, again. This time it looks like a 1500-2500 repair on the transmission, yikes! With any luck though after it gets towed in, I'll still make lunch with Susan W which should be great! As for working on the title swap, maybe later tonight!

Have a great day everyone!

Oh yikes! A transmission repair....that's not fun. Have you thought that maybe your car didn't want to go back to FL? *ducks any flying boots or sandals*

That could be a while Chrissy! Looks like the Northeast is being flooded this summer. How wonderful it would be to add a scraproom!!! I know you will be posting pictures of the progress of the room, once it starts and of course the finished product.

What a great idea for a graduation gift! With DS #1 graduating next spring that would be a great project to get started on.......(could you send me some pictures, for ideas of course?)

Sounds like you've been busy! ATC's I hope when the swap is completed they are posted. I love to see everyone's work! 99degrees!!??!?! IN WA?!?! WOW I didn't think it got that hot there! I thought it was usually pretty mild, how is the humidity?

Sounds to me like you've been busy! Be sure to post pictures of your completed nightstand. I love to see refinished furniture! Good luck with the ball games. I have tried to do some 6x6 albums and had to give them up as they were too difficult for me to incorporate all that I wanted to. Hope we get to see the finished product!
