What project/projects are you currently working on?

You have so much going on!! I don't know how you get it all completed!!

Yikes about the car! I sure hope this is the last time it lays down on you. I think it's tired from all the trips, it's telling you that it needs a vacation! lol

Enjoy your lunch with Susan W!

Good luck on the uploading! I have done some of that. Once you get it figured out you'll be done! LOL What a neat idea, is this a type of a BOM? (Book Of Me)

Poor car probably remembers that the last time it lived in FL it got rear ended twice, LOL! Well it's the worst type of transmission leak, from the front seal, meaning that they have to rebuild!! Strangely enough the referral I got ended up being for the very places that Susan has gone to for her repairs over many years, so that's a relief. Nonetheless, the "friendly" estimate is between $1800 and $2400 and I had to rent a car as it will take several days.

Susan and I had a great lunch, and even got some shopping at JoAnn's done. Not got to get the trnamission fluid off my drivewan before I can get back to the Title Swap!

I'm still working on my first scrapbook. It is about our Animal Kingdom Lodge stay of just 1 day this spring (from a longer trip to Disney). It is already 15 pages. I loved watching all the animals and I've got the photos to prove it. :-)

I am crocheting a scarf. This is good exercise for my arthritic thumb. But I have to proceed slowly so I don't over-do.

I have designed a beaded necklace and hope to construct it soon. I've done bracelets and earrings before, but this is my first necklace.

I keep telling my boss that work gets in the way of doing fun, creative, crafty stuff. :-) Fortunately, she's a good boss and knows just what I'm talking about. She gardens.

I am busy taking a lot of photos of my mother's garden because she would like an album with the flowers in her garden to cheer her up in long winter nights. She loves gardening and hates winter because she cannot garden.

I am also busy taking photos of Kesinka, my mother's cute lady dog. She is a beige labrador and last time someone took photos of her was about five years ago. I am planning do an 8x8 album of her for my mother.

I am also doing a cross stitch picture of four puppies (one of which looks like young Kesinka). I am hoping to finish it by my mother's birthday in a month's time so I need to get cracking.

Well, lets see here...a few ongoing projects, a couple of finished projects, and few goals!

I just finished and sent off my ATC cards to Katrina yesterday! Thats one project down, a few more to go! I am in the middle of working on my titles for the title swap, still have some work to do for the embellishments, and need a trip to HL to be able to do that! Hope to get it all done in time!

I have pics together and ideas in my head for a gift album for my friend at work who is leaving after working there for 12 years. Her DH is in the Navy, has finished his training and schooling, and just got his orders for Virginia Beach! I have GOT to get crackin' on that! Her last day at work is the 6th of July, but they wont be moving until July

20th or so.

I also have some notes jotted down, and ideas floating around for a project I want to do for my DH (late fathers day present or maybe I can get it done for his birthday in September.) I want to make a 3-D collage/shadowbox/memorabilia box, not sure what to call it..LOL Subject: his Dad, and his life. I want to use old pics, newspaper articles, and his hobbies, like old antique cars, farming, woodworking, barbershop quartet singing, things like that. I can see it in my head, but its hard to describe! That will be a major project, as I have to sweet talk my own dad to make me the box to put it in, AND try to hide it all from DH. My scrap area is IN our bedroom!

I still have page kits put together, left over from what I didn't get done at the Barn! At least I have those to work on for a quick scrappin' fix!

I FINALLY finished my 6x6 album pages for the Barn! That thing is so THICK, I think I used 3 post extenders! But I am glad THAT is done! I had a lot of trouble putting it all together, and I can't remember HOW many times I had to take it apart (and cuss) and put it back together (and cuss) before I finally got it right. It was late at night, and I was tired, thats my excuse! I would like to get some cards made up ahead of time, like Deb mentioned, but I am always scrambling at the last minute to get one done for someone! I almost hate to buy a card anymore, when I can make it

And always on the back burner, my ongoing heritage album pages for me and my sisters books.

I was reading everyones replies to this subject, and I thought everyone else had so much to do, until I got to thinking about my own projects..LOL

Thanks! It's basically done. Have to ship it off tomorrow & hope it arrives on Monday (party Tuesda).

Sure hope they're surviving! When I check the weather the highs are in the low to mid 90s & the lows are in the mid seventies (:::shudder:::). I would not be doing well in that climate.

Always! I was on the phone with my mom and making dinner when Logan came in with the cantaloupe. So no pictures. I have been bad about taking pictures lately. Jacqui

Just wanted to let the group know-my dad got his book and LOVED it. Well of course he did, but don't we all worry when we make something? Anyways, just bowled him over, he said. Also gave him a card that read something along the lines of "sure you love all your kids equally, blah, blah blah, yadda, yadda, yadda" and on the inside it said "but you know and I know, and that's what counts". He was still laughing about it today, and he got it on Monday. (I have 4 sisters and a brother.) I love it when I can make my dad laugh.

As for the marathon thing, well, I haven't run one yet. The farthest I've ran in a race so far is a half marathon, 13.1 miles. The training has its benefits: every week I get a different treat. This week I'm *playing* for an M&M blizzard at Dairy Queen. Large! That certainly helps keep the motivation up for those last couple of miles. Besides, anyone can do this. Three years ago, I seriously could not run a block. I'd walk for 4 minutes, then chug through 1 minute of running. A treadmill and some good tv later . . . no problem. (hahaha). If and when I finish this thing in October, I'll post about.

Kenda, Yes, I will have to post pictures when I'm finished with her graduation album. My oldest daughter cried when she opened hers a couple of years ago. She and her friends still look through it....definately worth the time and effort that went into it. Hers was almost 40 pages, 6 months and $$$ of dollars. I don't think I'm going to have my youngest album done on Sunday. But I will work on it after the party and finish it this summer.

Seattle is generally not that warm. > What a great idea for a graduation gift! With DS #1 graduating next spring
