Scrapbook Pages Using Monogram Chipboard Letters

Found the above idea while I was doing some research on chipboard. I just wasn't sure what it is or where to get some. I think it is acid free cardboard?

I was able to buy sheets of acid free chipboard on ebay but that seller doesn't have anything listed right now. There are other ebay sellers with acid free chipboard but it is not as thick as the chipboard that I bought. That may be a plus since I broke my sidekick trying to cut it and then nearly broke my wrist trying to use it in the sizzix. At any rate I got 100 sheets of 5 x 7 chipboard for about $12 shipped.

thanks for the site. Lots of "eye candy" to scraplift from.

For chipboard I usually use the cardboard backing from the paper slabs. You can also get it at artsupply/framing stores.

Came across this on ebay this morning. For $2 shipped they will send you samples of chipboard in various thicknesses so you can see what works best for you.

Yes, chipboard is thick cardboard basically.

We have a scrap store here that has several varieties of the chipboard letters in different sizes and styles--you can even buy the letters individually--what are you looking for? I can pick up some and send them to you in the mail if you like. :-)

Thank you very much for the offer, but I just ordered some off of ebay. A chipboard sample pack so to speak. I'm going to have fun playing with it and seeing what I can do.
