You know you're a psycho scrapper....

You know you're a psycho scrapper when you are evacuating for a hurricane TWICE and the first thing you pack are pics and most of your scrapping supplies. My DH thought I was crazy! Hilda

Hey after the cat, that's my first saves with my laptop. It has a backup of my personal property list. :-)

I would probably do the same thing. There's a lot of money involved and I'd hate to have to start over. What a terrible thing to have to think.

Heck I'd have each kid help me now that they are older and stronge. "YOU grab two picture tubs, YOU grab three, I'll grab the albums. OK kids and dogs in the car! Hey anyone know where your father is?!" haha

You're not crazy - scrapbooking supplies cost way too much to take the chance of their being ruined by water if you can help it! Plus if you're like most of us, they're in relatively portable containers so they're easy to transport to safety...

That would be me. In an emergency were we needed to evacuate, I would be grabbing all the pictures I could possibly grab. Were actual thinking of getting a safe deposit box at the bank so that we can store all of our pictures that our on CD.

That's what we did... When I found out our bank account included a free safety deposit box, I thought, what a safe place for my pictures! Things like the house deed, insurance policies, and birth certificates were sort of an afterthought.... Now I just need to get in gear and get *all* of them in there...

That's what I would do. I know last year I had packed up all my pictures and took them with us.

I'd probably do the same thing here if we had hurricanes! We have tornadoes though...better gather all my stuff in one place just in case! ;-)
