Top done

Well, the top is together. I found out I had a few extra blocks, so I made two pillow shams. Which I will guilt until my frame is delivered and put together.

DR Brat

Anybody complaining about the above statement should also note that simply reposting the entirety of an older post with one or two lines added is very very bad form. In fact, there used to be newsreaders that wouldn't allow you to post unless you had added more new material than you quoted. ...

Reversible top

Can someone suggest a pattern for a reversible top? I have a yard of self-patterned gold coloured silk so it has to be sleeveless. I also have some plain gold and thought I would line it. But I would like to try to make it reversible. Helena

top finished

uploaded a picture of my Radiant Star top from the Carol Doak BOM to webshots 2011 projects. Wrestling a quilt top for quilting is beyond me yet but I am enjoying piecing blocks.

Top finished!

I've *finally* finished the top of my Winding Ways quilt. To say I've taken my time on this one is to make the understatement of the year. ;) I have a longarmer friend who is going to baste it for me, and then I'll do the quilting myself on my Bernina 630.

top completed!!

I just finished the top for the marine quilt. OMG!! This thing is a freakin' behemouth! LOL I decided to do 3 border strips, red at the edge, then the white with stars, and blue on the outer edge. AND, I actually did mitered corners!!!

Top finished

I finished the top this afternoon of the leftover pieces from the quilt from hell. The pattern is "Trip around the world". Boy is it colorful. I am going to sandwich it tomorrow and start quilting it and I will post the pictures as soon as I am finished.
