top finished

uploaded a picture of my Radiant Star top from the Carol Doak BOM to webshots 2011 projects. Wrestling a quilt top for quilting is beyond me yet but I am enjoying piecing blocks.

Thanks, Ginger. I'm not completely happy with a couple of blocks but over-all I'm pleased

Thanks. I wanted to do the floating stars but didn't have enough of the brown print and didn't want to use the ivory. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

It's lovely! And such a calm beauty to it. Well played, my friend.

Thank is lovely Mary. Very soothing to the eye. I know you didn't ask for any opinions (sorry), but I couldn't help thinking what a beautiful border you could make with the diamonds (or even half-diamonds) of the alternating blocks. . In message , mary writes
