Bernette 334ds

I have a chance for a secondhand Bernette 334ds overlocker.

Can someone tell me if it's worth ?100 (sterling)?

Are parts still available?

Thanks.

Yes, and yes, but contact the seller to see what sort of use it has had, and Bernina

to see about availability of parts in your area. It's not so old that they won't be available somewhere. :) Not a heavy use machine (unlike the Bernina overlockers), but good for reasonable domestic use.

IIRC, those Bernette overlock machines were made by Juki, and there are "cousins" of the various "MO 234, 334,335, etc Bernette models under the Juki name. Models numbers for Juki also begin with "MO". Jukis still sells overlock machines with the "MO".

No, this is a private sale.

want a particular model.

Didn't know he did secondhand ones, interesting.

I want something that will last - and won't shake about on the table! And that will work. and that I can afford:))

Thanks
