Click & Sew

I just got a Click & Sew Pattern #7201 for blouses. I want to make the one listed on the pattern on the left hand side of the pattern envelope but I can't figure out how to do it. It will let me choose button-up and zipper styles but how in the world do you make it give you a pullover???????????? PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!

Thanks! I will do that.

It's weird, because it only shows closure options of zipper and button-up. It doesn't have any other choice. But it should have, because the first one listed on the envelope looks like it is just a pullover - or at least a zipper in the back. I'd be okay with that, but I don't want a zipper or buttons in the front. I'm wondering if there's not something wrong with the CD.

Thanks!

If you click on "Updates" on your welcome screen and download the latest patch (Apr 2003), it includes a back zipper option, I think.

Alternatively, you can manually set the front seamline on the fold and add a seam allowance to the back piece and come up with a back zipper closure, or put both on the seam allowance and have no closure -- but if you do that, make sure your neckline is large enough to go over your head.

Your opening screen should have a bunch of block-shaped buttons that say things like "Pattern drafter" "Chat List" "Photo Album" "Updates" "Construction Guide" "Exit" etc. Click on the "Chat List" one and you will get a pop-up dialogue window that says something like, "Please make sure you are connected to the internet," and then it will take you to the web site to sign up for the chat list.

BINGO! That's where my problem was! I was able to go get the update they had listed but I didn't see one for April 2003. The one they had listed was for November 1, 2002. Is there an April 2003 update somewhere on that site?

I still don't see a way the zipper can be put in the back though. I will look some more.

I think I'm too much of a beginner for anything like that just yet. Hopefully I will be able to get it worked out with the pattern now. Thank you very much for your help.

I didn't have an opening screen like that at all until I downloaded the update. Now I have one like you listed above. Thank you!

What is Click & Sew? Is it software?

Yup. And if you can't fit nicely into a standard size, it's heaven.

Yup, it's software, and as others know on here, I'm a convert. I bought Click and Sew and liked it so much I upgraded to PMB within a few days, thanks to an act of generosity on the part of the DH. I got a trade-in deal via
