Hey Dave,
This is Brad, DH to Deb in AR. She asked me to drop you a line on here and see if I could assist. If I understand you right, you connected the camera, transferred the pictures to the PC, and now want to do something with them. Be it emailing as attachments, uploading to a website, or whatever, you want to do something with them before you do something drastic to the computer with a tire tool. If I've got any of that wrong (aside from the tire tool bit), please post back to here, and I will do everything that I can.
If using Windows 95 / 98 / 2000 / ME / XP: Left click on the Start button and the Start Menu will open Left click on the My Documents link on the Start Menu When that window opens, using the left double-click on the "My Pictures" icon When that window opens, you should see all of the pictures If you do not see them, then the pictures are in another folder and that folder will have to be located before you can email them
If the pictures are NOT in the "My Pictures" folder: Left click on the Start button and the Start Menu will open Left click on the My Recent Documents link on the Start Menu You should see a listing of recently accessed files You should also see the names of some of the new pictures you have loaded from the camera to the computer Point to the filename with your mouse Right click on the name and you will get a menu of things you can do to the file Left click on the "Properties" option on the menu You should see a window open with general information about the file You should also see a "tab" at the top of the window called "Shortcut" or "Target" When you left click on that tab, you will see a button on the screen called "Find Target" Left click on "Find Target" and it will open the window and you will see all of the files you're looking for
To email the pictures to someone: While your email program is open, choose to create a new email message Populate the TO field as desired Enter the message body Click the paperclip button on your email program toolbar If you want to attach more than one picture, left click ONE time on one of the pictures listed Now hold down the control button on the keyboard and don't let go Left click one time on each of the other pictures you want to attach When you have all of the pictures highlighted, let go of the control button Left click on the "Insert" or "Attach" button on the screen Finalize the message as you so choose Click "Send"
As always Dave, please let me know if I can be of some further assistance.
