is for my great-niece. I am certain she won't be offended it came solate. She is a blue eyed blonde like the dolly. As soon as I finish outthe current projects (fakey Chanel, prom dress, etc.) I'm starting onanother dolly for her for This Christmas!! lol The plan is to do her ashelf dolly every year till she gets sick of them. ;) I think it's a lawthat every Southern little girl has to have a dolly collection. oh, construction details... The dolly came from a discount place and was horribly dressed to begin with. Cut apart her AWFUL dress and used it for a pattern. Added details here and there till it looked like how I wanted. ;) I made tubes from bias cut from the two pink satins. Then used those to roll the roses. The built in crinoline (didn't want to post indecent pics so I didn't take any of that) is a two toned pink tulle. And her bloomers are pale pink satin with lace at the hems. Did the embroidery on my embroidery machine. ;) So basically, I embellished the dress every way I could think of. ;)
And if the pinks look familiar, they are left overs from the costumes I did last Fall for school. I always save satin bits because you never know when you might need to dress a dolly. ;)
