for all those last minute people

know that I have said a little prayer that you got everything done, the way you wanted, adn with no children or spouses interrupting . Fortunately, I was able to speed sew and all that is left are things that I would *like* to get done, not things that *need* to get done.

Now, for my last minute thingy.....anybody know how to cook a whole turkey?? I've never done it before, and a friend gave us an extra one that she had (still trying to figure out how you have an extra turkey) since my mother and grandmother are up (brings the total to 4 adults and a 3yo...in this case, the baby doesn't count in figuring oput how much food to make).

Larisa, thoroughly reading through the Betty Crocker cookbook and trying to figure out when to start this crazy thing

20 minutes per pound at 325 degrees will do it..Keep foil over the bird except for the last 30 minutes or so.....then remove the foil so it can brown up nicely.........Total time depends on what it weighs..........hope it is thawed.........
