Kate, my dear. If you are thinking of wearing that magnificent garment to breakfast, plan on suffering me popping out of the background and firmly tucking a bib around your person. We shall have no dribble on the banyan. Polly

And anyway, a true lady eats like a little bird! What a lovely garment. The nicest Christmas tree ornament I've seen in years. Excellently done, as ever. BTW, I forgot: Is it mock-poly or the real thing (wash 'n' wear)?

Um... Old joke. I once bought a length of crepe de chine. I thought it was polyester. Turns out when I read the label that it was 100% silk. It's been 'mock polyester' ever since!
