This! The last installment is here:
Kate, KUDOS to all involved. The costumes, masks, hats and hairdos look fabulous, and you all certainly appear to be having a ball (pun intended).
Thanks. We had a blast. The event was great fun, but on the whole, the year leading up to it was fab. My only real trouble will be storing all the stuff I made, especially that reeediculous black hat! It's 28" across...
I don't recall if you ever indicated that prizes would be awarded for Best Costume(s), if so, surely you must have won! ;-)
It looked like great fun for you all, and it must have been a relief to finally put on the costumes at the venue. What are you going to do next?
Lizzy
It may come to that!
No, no prizes. But thank you for your faith. :)
I think that might be the start of a trip down a very dangerous road. Unfortunately, I live in a house we bought for a family of four. It has a large unfinished (mostly, the sewing room is finished) daylight basement. For 40+ years we have used it for "storage"... Aaack!
Ah, well, I hereby bestow the "Best In Show", "Most Authentic", "Most Spectacular Stomacher", "Frilliest Ruffles" and "Grandest Hat" awards!
Take a bow. :-)
We have the loft, which, while A frame tent shaped, is basically the same floor area as the house... And then we built a 3m by 5m shed. Both are FULL! And this after a mere 27 years!
Su and Kate Bow.
Thank you.

A bunny girl outfit, a kilt, and today we finish a mermaid costume.
This is where Kate is supposed to say, "We're going to Disneyland!!"
With anyone else I would treat that as a facetious answer, but with you, Kate.....
.... I wait for the pictures :-)
Lizzy
The bunny outfit is for a cross dresser...
Some little madam rang up today: Can you make a wedding dress from my drawings?
Yes...
For 9th March?
THIS year? No way! Dozy little cabbage! It would be just about feasable in six months! Do these people have no brain at all???
Lots of that in Manchester.
What was she thinking!!! Some people just have NO IDEA do they?
DH is away and the boys were off for the weekend with his parents so I had operation muck out the pig sty. I can now see the floor, have given DS1 the archaeological layers of school notes for him to deal with, removed out grown clothing from DS2's drawers, all I need to do now is find enough shelf room for the books. I swear we have more books than the local library.

Hmmphf, it doesn't work for me... In the first link, half of the pics are missing, and for the other ones, I had to log in, and when I did so, a goat blew me a raspberry and said: 'Access is closed! You do not have access rights to view this entry. ' How can that be? I bet it's me, under some nasty curse I haven't found out yet.
Kate, please, help me!
U. ;-)
Hm... None of the posts are locked, so anyone ought to be able to read them, and you are on my f'list, so they shouldn't be a problem... Dunno, sorry! Try logging in and hitting the refresh button if all the pics don't load first off.
Wow, Kate....those are just Incredible!!!
