sweet husband sent me that site. They will print any design you want on60" wide cotton fabric. Like quilting cotton. They keep costs down byonly doing one kind of cotton and I guess they can get to orders within acouple days.

I told him it was really brave of him to send me that link. lol He said he was a little scared when he emailed it but he knew I would really think it was nifty. heh heh He heard an interview with the folks that run the company on NPR.

No Fair! Like we don't already have enough fabric stash, now we can go completely mad and design our own. :-}

Beverly, wishing I had known about that for the jewel-tone fabric I was looking for a few months back. Although I'm not really into 100% cotton most of the time.

Years ago when I went to Carson City every month for a machine knitting club, I knew a woman (who also attended) whose job/profession was to design the fabric used for uniforms. You notice that sometimes you go places where the employees are wearing uniforms made of a printed fabric, with a theme for the business? Sometimes the fabric is used for tablecloths, napkins, curtains, aprons, etc. She did those, then the fabric company printed her designs onto the fabric, which then went to the uniform producers. I always thought that was a really interesting job, and an unusual one, but great for a graphics designer. She worked at home, she didn't work "steady" but seemed quite happy with it.

Evil, evil temptress!!! ;->

And what's even worse: it says 'International shipping'!

U. - now I know what I can do with my time on the couch... There's a design I've had on my mind for ages... ;-)

Bwaaa-ha-ha!!! Finally someone recognizes my evilness!!! ;)

Yay!!!

How are you feeling? Did everything go well? I've been losing some posts in all the junk here lately. So if you already told the whole story, I'm sorry I missed it. Hope you feel like dancing soon!! :)
