Hi Robert here: Does anyone on here know where I could get a nice pattern for a winter scarf with fleece? This is for my 9 year old daughter. Thanks group Robert

I received a holiday gift book from Hancocks Fabrics either late last year or earlier this year that had simple directions. IIRC, it says take the length of fleece you desire your scarf to be, add 8 inches for fringe and make it about 8-10 inches wide. Hem the long sides with your serger, or other stitch you desire. About 4 inches from the short ends, sew a straight seam. Cut fringe about 1 inch wide up to that straight seam. Very easy & the only time consuming part is cutting the fring which isn't much considering it's only double the width you made the scarf. Hope this helps. Emily
I made this pattern, last month, for my granddaughter. I also tied on 3 beads to each fringe. It came out so cute. Mary Ann in Florida
There are some nice ones in the Kwik Sew catalogue and some in the McCalls/Butterick one too...
