I am looking for a pattern that would be an abstract or similiar of the world for a quilt. My son has a vision of a world pattern quilt top. I do not know if such a pattern exists. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you. Laurel...in for a big project with this son's request.

I don't, but come on over to rec.crafts.textiles.quilting and ask there
- thousands of quilters look in there, and someone may know. It's even more multi-national than here, too!
Here is an idea,
How about buying a world map ( large size of course ) and cutting it up. You could just do big pcs for the continents and large island or you could even go as far as doing each countries individualy ( providing you realy love your son and have nothing better to do ).
