pattern has a 3" mitered hem, that is suppose to be turned to the inside but I decided to turn it to the outside. I am making it in a heathered purple wool. I have some pewter buttons with an enameled thistle in purple and green. I would love to find some jacquard or printed ribbon with a thistle motif to tuck into the hem all the way around. I don't have too many trim sites bookmarked, and a web search only found thistle colored or stylized thistle like plants on ribbon. Any one have a source? I need at least 6 yards, so enbroidering my own is out. Thanks, Joy S-E
Oh I just love that jacket! It reminds me a bit of Issey Miyake although it is symmetrical. Sorry I can't help with the trim. Have you looked at:
Good luck :)

? I have used them several times and found them reliable and fast, not to mention cheap. NAYY. Only drawback is you have to buy the roll.
