It would appear that the body found in the desert Saturday in Californiais that of my son, but they will not consider it 100% until they receivedental records. So absolute identity will still take a little longer.Talked to the deputy coroner yesterday about it. But he was wearing the clothes he had been wearing, his wallet wasintact with the money that he had to start with and he had undoubtedly beenlaying there for quite some time. So all of the sightings were just wishfulthinking all along. Apparently he had tried to go back to the place where the truck had been disabled and he couldn't find it and just laid down to rest and never woke up. Thank you all for caring. God bless, Marlys in Indiana

Oh, (((((((Marlys))))))), how sad, but I am thankful that you will at least finally have closure on this. I am sure that is better than never knowing what happened.

Crying for you here in northern California, Melinda

Oh Marlys, I am so sorry. I don't know what to say, nothing that you haven't heard before. I lost my brother suddenly 9 years ago, and nothing anybody said could make it better. I just want to let you know that you are in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry Marlys. I know this has been an ordeal, and I hope that with some closure, you'll be able to go on. My thoughts will be with you and your Daughter-in-law.

Thanks for shar>

Dear Marlys,

I am so sorry to hear this news. You have my deepest sympathy. I seldom post to the group but check the postings daily. YOu have been on my mind since you first reported him missing. This is a very sad and not the way we were all hoping it would end.

May you find peace in your heart,

Marlys,

Only someone who has lost a child truly understands your pain. My son was murdered in 1999, and it has been a long five years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Email me directly if you wish..... Carol

Oh Marlys I am SO sorry.

Olwyn Mary in New Orleans.

Oh Marlys, I've been praying and hoping for your ordeal to end, but with a much different outcome. No parent should outlive their children....how hard this must be. My sincere sympathy and condolences...holding you close in prayers and sending gentle hugs your way. =20

Marlys -

I am so sorry. When something happens to our children it is almost unbearable. Hope you find some peace now. My prayers are with you.

Dorothy

I am sorry for you loss also. But I do truly understand how Marlys feels, even the contemplated loss of a child is deeply felt. You do not need to have a child die to understand her pain I think we have all felt it over the past few weeks and very much feel the pain of that loss. I wish to thank Marlys for giving the group closure also. Our thoughts with both of you always.

So sad to hear this, Marlys. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hugs.

Oh Marlys, My family and I extend our deepest condolences to you and your loved ones. May you find peace and comfort now. Emily

I, too, do not post all that much to this group, but check in regularly just to see what's going on. I remember reading on this board about your son. Then I saw nothing posted and was hoping that he had been found. My most sincere condolences to you and your family in sad time.

Sending you more hugs and prayers, Marlys, and wishes to comfort your grief. Sharon
