Need to find a name for those toggle things

Jan 13, 2006 5 Replies

I am looking for a whole sale source of those spring loaded toggle thingamywhatsits. The ones that go on elastic usualy on sweatshirts, hood casings or sometimes trouser bottoms, so that you can gather the elastic in a casing and make it stay put by releasing the spring catch.. Big problem is I don't know what the "official" name for them is so searching is a bit of a pain. French or English name apreciated if any of you know it. I am using them to gather the top of the water bottle carrier/covers in around the bottle neck and only have a couple left from those I cut of items of clothing that break down or get to small. I nearly have the perfect prototype so all help would be gratefully recieved. Thank You Claire in Montréal, France.
