Wrongo!!

"Well, I get to do the first fitting this Saturday at 11am. The first time that they will actually have the children participate is December

7th (what I had been planning for anyway).

I have finished:

2 African girls costumes 2 African boys costumes 2 Russian boys costumes 2 Russian girls costumes 2 Mexican girls skirts - shirts should be finished tonight

I will be working on the Mexican boys' costumes this week as well, and should hopefully have them done before Saturday am. I only have the measurements for 1 Japanese costume, and I will be starting that after I get all of the others finished. Hopefully, I will get the remaining 3 children and their measurements on Saturday, and then I can bust them out over a period of 2 weeks.

Wahoooooooo!!!

Larisa/CNYstitcher "

I found this by searching the group for "Larisa costumes." There were many, many posts describing this project. (OK, it's "church" costumes, not "pageant" costumes.)

Larisa--

you're way too funny!

for an embroidery machine, look at the babylock ellure's...they are a great value for the money, and have a 5x7 stitch field. not as big as some, but big enough to have fun with .

LOL..now see, I had already forgotten about those...argh! Also, I was thinking beauty pageant costumes for some reason. SHeesh, I think it must be that I went from the frigid north to the muggy, "slightly south" and my vrain just let some things go. Man, I must be getting old.....when did old age start in the 30s???

Larisa, who has narrowed the serger hunt down to 2 models, 1 that I already tested, and 1 that I'm tyring to locate locally to test-drive....it's between a Brother and a Janome, so we will see how they are when I compare them in person

I love my Janome 644D.I bought it from a dealer who gives me great service and lots of help when I need it. I think it was Sharon Hayes who had so many problems with a Brother. Check with her about that. Juno
